Pascal Bier is a Dutch photographer, visual artist and creative director working under the name Studio PAAR, between the Netherlands and Cape Town.
Drawing on over a decade of experience in art direction, his practice brings conceptual thinking and visual sensitivity together across fashion, culture and commissioned work.
His work is defined by a refined contemporary aesthetic and an interest in people, identity, intimacy and connection: creating images that balance visual impact with emotional depth.
PAAR, the Dutch word for “couple”, reflects the idea at the heart of the studio: connection between people, ideas, cultures and perspectives.
